Students must complete 33 semester credits of graduate course work with an average of 3.0 grade-point average, including at least 21 credits in the major language and 15 credits at the 400 level. Students take a comprehensive examination in the final semester. A thesis option also is available.
Students who choose to earn their teacher certification while they are also working toward a Masters Degree must take a few different classes than undergraduate teacher certification students.
