Spanish Minor

How do I declare a Spanish minor?

Due to high enrollments and limited seats in Spanish classes, it may be difficult to complete a Spanish minor at ISU at this time in the traditional way. We recommend that you take advantage of summer classes at ISU (as seats are available) or explore other options with your advisor. You might also like to consider an ISU-sponsored study abroad, like Granada, Spain and Taxco, Mexico in order to earn credit toward your minor.

Spanish non-teaching minor - minimum of 24 hours

112.15 First Year Spanish Part II
115.15 Second Year Spanish Part I
116.15 Second Year Spanish Part II -- Must earn a 'B' or better to take 213.15
213.15 Advanced Spanish Grammar - Must earn 'B' or better to take 215, 223 or 233

215.15 Introduction to Spanish Linguistics OR 233.15 Introduction to Hispanic Literature
