What course should I take?

If your score is between ....

69-74 you may be ready for a higher level--take the 115 Placement test to find out
62-68 you are probably prepared for 112
52-61 with some extra review you may be prepared for 112; otherwise you should take 111
0-51 you are probably not prepared for 112, and should enroll in 111

What if I'm right on the border?
If your score is on the borderline, do take into consideration your skill levels in speaking and writing. If you are strong in these areas, consider the higher level. If you have concerns, enroll in the lower level.

What if I still want to enroll in 112?
Is there a required score for entry into each level?
Will a low score block my enrollment?
Your score on this test is advisory only. It will not block you from enrolling in any 100-level course. If your score is lower than you had hoped, you may still enroll in the 112 course, but you should be aware that you will not be as well prepared as most of your classmates, and you will need to budget extra time for study.
